Our wedding venue here at Big Lake Lodge has evolved into “one wedding per weekend”. This gives you exclusive access Friday (until 9:00 pm) for any preparations (if you’re doing your own flowers, decorating, etc) and your rehearsal. Your ceremony and reception on Saturday (music must stop by 9:00 pm) and access again on Sunday (until 12:00 noon) if needed for removal of anything left behind.

Our fee is $3300 plus tax (8%) totals $3564.00 and includes everything listed on the amentities list plus a wedding planner on site working with you to plan every aspect of your event. Our staff provides the set up for the ceremony, the table set up for the reception, the food preparation and presentation on the buffet, beverage server, wait staff to bus tables and perform most of the clean up.

The fee includes the use of all the furniture, linen, dishes, flatware, appliances, serving dishes, etc. While it does not include the cost of the food and beverages, it does include all the services a caterer would provide.

Part of the planning is helping you create a menu that suits your budget. There are formulas that help determine the amount of food and beverages you’ll want to have for the number of guests you’re expecting. When that’s been determined you provide the prepared foods from either a Costco type purchase or delivery from a caterer/ restaurant and we do all the remaining preparation, presentation, and servicing for the buffet and the non alcoholic beverages.

     Includes:

  • Parking attendants 
  • Log gazebo and adjoining arbor covered seating area for 120 guests
  • White tulle aisle overhead swag
  • 6 hanging flower pots (variegated whites and greens)
  • All the tables and white wedding chairs
  • White linens for all the tables including napkins
  • Table skirting for the buffet line, cake table, gift/quest book table and the head table (wedding party)
  • Stereo system with microphone 
  • Covered outdoor bar and beverage area
  • Several natural photo op locations

     

      Indoors:

  • Bride's suite with bathroom for her and the bride's maids
  • Groom's suite with bathroom for him and the groom's men
  • A guest bathroom
  • Full kitchen stocked with white dinner plates, dessert plates, coffee cups, tableware, serving utensils, chafing pans, a 60 cup coffee maker, a three burner pour through coffee maker, punch bowl, water pitchers and cleaning supplies
  • Open reception area with a skirted buffet line
  • All the services a caterer provides
